anyone else have issues with materials just getting randomly reassigned when you open a file. I’m using layer states and changing materials and visibility of objects for different layer states. I save the file and the next time I open it I have to go back and fix the materials on several objects because they will just have random materials assigned to them. I think I have figured out that it’s only happening to objects that have materials assigned directly to them vs assigned to the layer. So I guess I have to put every object on its own layer to get it to retain assignments
Hi Michael A Harris,
Can you run SystemInfo in the Rhino command line and post the results.
I’ll see if there are any bug reports filed for this. It might be a tough one to replicate (which is needed to file a report)
