ARE we using it to put the boundary condition of Galapagos solution ?

No it’s meant to be an easy way to create a large number of sliders that you wouldn’t necessarily modify by hand. It’s annoying to maintain 20 individual sliders needed for a Galapagos solution, so you create a single gene pool object.
