I was having red viewports myself back in V6 WIP, but haven’t seen this happening for quite a while. But there are more reports of it in previous versions. Can you give more info when exactly this happens?
When I was getting them, it happened with Maximized viewports and switching from one Maximized viewport to the next.
Do you need to restart Rhino when this happens, or can you recover in some way?

I’m always working in maximised viewports. My hunch is that it’s when I’m working with big models (over 1GB) or have three our four models open at one time. Can’t recover. Have to restart.
