Mac GH "Display Style" toggle buttons get "stuck down"

The no preview / wireframe preview / shaded preview trio of buttons on mac get toggled on but never appear to be toggled off. This results in confusing states like this:

You’re the second to show this behavior, but I earlier could not reproduce it on my Mac. Can you send your full _SystemInfo?
