Low poly modelling?

Hello

Is there any workflow to model low poly objects for gaming and web using the SubD tools? I mean I would like to keep my the model hard edged, polygonal. Is there a way to do it without specifically applying the crease command everytime?
It would be nice to have some hard edged tools to model with.

Because I think SubD is more flexible or powerful

Not really. However, depending on your topology, you can use some of the SubD tools on meshes too.


Do you know why its the shading like this on the extracted polygon/mesh and how can i fix it?

I guess you’re looking for UnweldVertex command.

Hello,
Do you know how I can use the output of SubD Poly in Grasshopper? I need the rough mesh actually instead of smooth SubD mesh. I can bake them to Rhino, but cannot continue working on them in Grasshopper.
I tried to deconstruct the output but I cannot get the faces but only the points.
Do you have any suggestions?
