Hello,

Is there any app/plug-in/database for Lift Rigging design?

The current work flow is more or less this: Download 3D step file model of a shackle from supplier website, import it into Rhino and place it where it needs to be. If you want to change it from 6.5T Shackle and 8.5Te shackle (for example), you need to repeat the process.

In ACAD there is options for 2D dynamic blocks, which is better, but it is also limited to 2D (boring).

I’m not aware of such app.

That sounds like something that should be doable with Grasshopper.
