Keyboard shortcut - edits to command macros are not saved?

In the WIP, you can now add shortcuts manually, meaning that there is no preset list of shortcuts like there was in R8.

That said, edits to shortcut fields are not sticky. You have to manually remove and add the shortcuts to make them sticky. I cannot simply change the command macro.

To reproduce

  1. Add a new shortcut (e.g. F5)
  2. Add a macro, such as: '_AutoAlignCplane
  3. Hit ‘OK’
  4. Open the options again and go to F5
  5. Change the command macro to '_AutoAlignCplane _e
  6. Notice how the edit is not saved after pressing ‘OK’

Hi -

That sounds like RH-83870 Keyboard Shortcuts: Revert After Restart
-wim

Note that I don’t restart Rhino, unlike the youtrack. The shortcut shows when I hit ‘OK’ but is never actually written to the options, it appears.

Yes, that was also in my original bug report.

Ah okay, skimmed over that than.

Happens in R8 as well, not just R9 WIP. :frowning:

My bug report was for the current 8.12 SRC.

Oh sorry, I saw WIP and thought you reported for R9, then I double posted.

RH-83870 is fixed in Rhino 8 Service Release 12 Release Candidate
