Joining meshes with separate textures for 3d printing

I’m trying to help an artist friend with a 3d scan he wants to color 3d print, but the scan imports to rhino in 4 separate meshes with two separate image texture files. When I join the 4 meshes, it makes a closed mesh surface, but the image texture no longer maps correctly. Below is a screencap of the imported model with textures showing correctly, with one of the 4 separate meshes selected to show that the meshes are not cleanly split (aka not easily made solid themselves). In the background is the joined/printable mesh, with incorrect texture. Is there any way to join the meshes or otherwise make them printable, and keep their textures?
