Hi im new to this software, but is there any ways to increase the curve surfaces? It is currently looking very edgy. Any ideas?
Remesh then smooth it (try Rhino7 quadremesh, then go to subD or smooth the mesh with something like weaverbird).

use MeshToNURB
or maybe its called Tonurb
in rhino 6, then use Mesh
on that new polysurface set everything to 0 and leave minimum and maximum edge length at a reasonable number, that will create an as per face denser mesh which you then as Michael suggests can use the command Smooth
on.
