Is there a way to display e.g. line length in real time?

In some cases I find it very useful when I can see the dimension (e.g. line length or circle diameter) in real time whilst drawing. AutoCAD is a good example. Perhaps there is a plug-in or setting in Rhino that would enable that?

In the left bottom where is say “Millimeters” next yo xyz coordinates,
very small… but shows once you start drawing.

Hi Christoph - you can turn on various Cursor tool tips in Options > Modeling aids - one of them is Distance.
