Intersecting two curves

Hi,
I’ve been trying to create a curve that intersects the lowest point of the adjacent curve.
There is a slight distance between them disallows them intersecting
I’ve been at it for an hour now and for some reason, cannot figure it out.
I’d really appreciate some help

I would suggest the approach briefly outlined in the attached .

BTW: Crv offset is using the standard R Method - a total disaster - but this is not the point.
