Insert point to SubD Rhino 8

Hi, I’m trying SubD on Rhino8 and I noticed some differencies.
There was a useful feature in Rhino7 that allowed me to draw new edges across multiple faces using
Insert Point to Mesh or SubD, unfortunatelly I can’t do it anymore in Rhino 8. It looks like there’s no other way then create new edges face by face.
I would love if you can restore that feature, i will appreciate so much.

InsertPoint is working as expected here in Rhino 8 on a SubD. Maybe you have an Osnap enabled that is getting in the way of clicking where you want?
