Industrial Design 5 (WIP)

Another product design project in progress. This time a dispenser for washing powder, washing gel and fabric softener. The finished design including final renders will be ready in a month. Modeled in Rhino 8, rendered in Bella.

looks like another great model! Beautiful rendering- that milky plastic is lovely.

I hope you have some sort of drip management in mind… I have a similar jug and it always drips detergent on the floor…

Thank you. I’ll see how this design turns out. The milky plastic looks good thanks to the Bella renderer, but it’s still hard to render. I hope the next project will finally be without semi-transparent plastics. I’m currently designing the cap for this product, I want it to be minimalistic and have some simple extra function. I’m struggling with it quite a bit.

I’ve been dealing with the dripping for a long time, but I don’t know if there’s an easy way to solve it and keep the design minimalist. Maybe turn the dispensing tap 180 degrees up.

my thought exactly have a rotating valve instead of a lever valve, the nozzle points up to close…

simple and effective! Lovely work as always thanks for sharing it-

I’m curious myself to see what the final design, colors, materials, and renderings will look like. But thanks for the encouraging words.

It is a notable design

When I saw the first model I wanted to ask, why it has not a handle for moving, but you added an interesting handle in the second model

Thank you for sharing

Thank you for your kind words. This is the current version, which is also close to the final design in terms of color. However, there is still a lot of work to be done on the model and final renders, which will be very product-like.

Bella is probably best at semi-transparent plastics. But suitable light is also important.

True, I did try with cycles but cant achieve satisfied results some renders handle those materials easier

is Bella license 295 euros one time or yearly? I will have to try a demo

After purchasing, you have access to regular updates for a year, and after that, you keep the program forever. It’s a very good buy when you know what the program can do.

Thats good its a reasonable price to

my bad 240 euros for a seat license

Yes, lifetime license. I’ve tried many rendering plugins and Bella is by far the best. If it weren’t for that, I’d probably use v-ray, but it doesn’t have the semi-transparent plastics as good.
