If you work with real-world terrain in Rhino—DTM (Digital Terrain Model) elevation data turned into a clean 3D mesh instead of hand-lofting contours—we built Atlass Connectt for exactly that.
▎ It’s a Rhino plugin (Rhino 7 and Rhino 8, installed via package manager that lets you pick a location on an embedded map and pull DTM terrain straight into your Rhino document as a mesh.
▎
▎ Current DTM coverage:
▎ - Germany — WCS
▎ - United Kingdom — WCS
▎ - France — IGN Géoplateforme
▎ - Netherlands
▎ - United States
▎ - Spain
▎ - Finland
▎
▎ Outside these regions, or for larger areas, it falls back to Mapbox-based elevation automatically — no manual switching required.
▎
▎ This sits alongside the plugin’s other map-to-Rhino extraction (buildings, roads, cadastral parcels), but it works fine as a terrain-only tool if that’s all you need.
