i believe this worked at some point? tried on several surfaces.
Seems to be working according to the Help, however seems like a strange and misleading option… (I assume you wanted to extract the isocurve of the entire untrimmed surface, which this option does not do)

yup strange. i really had the feeling it would extract the untrimmed isocurve.
now where did i get this idea from… thanks for clearing that up.
