How to select an edge of brep from rhino using the human ui "CREATE RHINO PICK BUTTON"

As title says I am trying to select an edge of a brep using
HUMAN UI

This is not supported. In my experience subobject reference is not common in grasshopper.

i mainly use subelement selection with rhino inside revit

I am using this to get all the work line locations from stair stringer brep edges so that those edges could be used as curves to create revit structural beams using Rhino inside revit. This would give revit users the ability to just use the ui window to select and not have to open grasshopper.

also i am showing firms how to use this “pick edge of brep” to locate there centerlines of walls off of rhino solids so walls could be rebuilt inside of Revit using rhino inside revit.
