How to model this twisting clt timber structure

i am trying to model a much taller version of this tower. what would be the best way of modelling these type of forms?

Hello - as a start, make the top polygon, copy it to the base and the middle. Use Loft with History on, loft the three polygons, with the seam set to Natural. Then scale and rotate the polygons to deform the object.

This is what @pascal says:

first without history, second with record history enabled

Or use the Twist command.

Make the top polygon, copy it to the base and the middle.
Loft the three polygons, with the seam set to Natural.
Twist as desired.

Hi, While the geometry of each segment may may appear to twist that’s actually not the case. Here’s a hint: each of the segments is actually single curved and belongs to a cylinder.

Can easily be modeled in rhino using < 10 commands!
