Fair enough if you prefer to stay on R7 for now. Rhino 8 does have some bugs in Grasshopper, and I agree the ‘Annotation’ naming here is not very clear. But it also added a lot of useful tools in the Rhino tab, so overall it is a solid step forward. Hopefully things like this get polished over time.

…intended audience for GH… I don’t think there is a clear answer for the required skillset.
About Annotation not being an obvious term… Text and dimensions in Rhino are defined with Annotation styles.
