How to create a dotted line in the Rhinopython

Hi Everyone,
I want to know how to create a dotted line in the Rhinopython，I know to use Rhino.Display.DisplayPipeline.DrawDottedLine to create a dotted line ，But I got a Runtime error
Any help or insight on this would be great,
