How to copy the display color from one object to another?

The dropper just grabs the current pixel color, not the actual object color, so how do you do that?

but i would also like to have a pipette to work, or better to drag and drop the colours, i stated a wish here

often do i want the print color to be the same, not a problem i just print the display color, but when i activate the print preview it obviously will not work. so i have that extra work to change the colours constantly. drag and dropping colors to different layers would also generally be helpful i think. or is there a way i am not aware of?

Yes. Pipette is how it works in Siemens NX (also how you select by color). It would be nice, but I’m not holding my breath.
