How can I reconize the things done in each incremental save?

Hello again, I have been using incremental save all the time. However I still have not come up with the best way with this function.

For example, My client need modification on a part, or he wanted to change back to previous stage with new modifications, then I have to access a series of incremental save files completed weeks ago which I lost most of my brain memory to identify the difference between them, until I open them each by each, maybe sometimes I cannot figure out what adjustment I had done , sometime may be just a surface edge increased 1mm which is not easily noticeable but important change. I have to pick the correct one to proceed amoung them.

So what is you advice to make this “incremental save” better?Thank you.

Hi -

When I used to work on concept development projects where the direction could change significantly, I’d create incremental saves and keep notes in the Notes panel about the main changes between versions. You can read the notes in Windows Explorer without having to open the file.
-wim

I tried adding text to note and saved. In right click => properties I did not find any. How does it show up ? Thanks.

Right Click -> Properties gives me something like this:

Simply selecting the file shows this:

-wim
