Hello and good day. how can i model these kind of slanted or inclined columns systematically or procedurally? i can do them without problem when the walls are just straight but it becomes tricky when the walls are irregular just like this image. i have my own approach which works just fine. what i was doing is take a portion (surface) of the wall with the slanted column then flatten that surface so i can draw a slanted column. then finally, i just use flow along surface to orient the column ive drawn along the original wall’s position. some other approach i use is just draw directly on the wall if its a subd using interpolate curve on surface. those work just fine but im looking for a much direct approach using modelling like briding to ends on subd mode, but the problem is the result doesnt really follow the shape of the wall. briding two ends would only result to a straight connection. can you suggest a different approach to this? thanks and regards
