I am struggling with this. How to make the pink bar in the back bend like the wireframe? Im not having any luck with the twist command
why twist it?
1 rail sweep using a starting curve an ending curve and a twisted profile along the way should get you what you need, unless I’m confused.
see below-
or you can turn on the points for the surface and simply rotate them-
please post your geometry, is really not speeding things up to help you guys.
anyway..
one better option would be sweep2 which gives you more control, sweep 1 just leads to ugly results as you beautifully can observe in @theoutside example.
for sweep 2 build the rails from continous curves, not joined arches and lines, that messes up the result
due to the nature of your approach you will have bulging issues because the profile skips outwards when you rotate the profile in the center
better would be if rethink your tactics and make a rail offset it with with option loose and create 2 sets of lofts that you further loft together and fillet.
that will ensure that you orthogonal foot print will stay aligned.
Thank you ! Im so fried. this is a great approach
