Hi everyone,
I’m currently working on a project where I have a series of offset floor plates (see attached image), and I’m trying to create a parametric stair system between them in Grasshopper.
I am still a beginner at Grasshopper, so I am struggling a bit with creating the stairs. My goal is to have stairs that start at one edge of a floor plate, connect diagonally to the opposite edge of the floor plate above, and I tried to show it in the image I attached. I want to repeat this logic throughout the stack of plates
As for the space between these stairs (the space highlighted in purple), I plan to subdivide it into triangular panels, where the panels are triangulated, and the triangles gradually become smaller as they move upward.
But for right now, I just want some help with creating the stairs. Any help would be really appreciated.
I have attached a screenshot of what I am trying to do, and a copy of my Grasshopper script. I would truly appreciate any help or guidance on this matter.
