Grasshopper - Update Named View

Hi,

Since a while I noticed the ‘Named view’ in GH which is pretty handy to save a view of a specific part of your script. (handy navigating).

However, I was wondering is it possible to:

  • update/modify a saved view?
  • Rearange the named views?

e.g. I would like to modify/update view 1.

Right now the only option is to delete all 6 views, and reset al views…

I tried several thing but it looks like this is not possible, or am I missing something?

hi @GH-KN , I am driven by same need

I use GH named view a lot in massive definitions and when i change something on the canvas it’d be very handy to be able to update the specific named view rather than delete it and create a new one.

when i replace an existing named view with a new one the list order of the GH named view is messed up which is bad especially when you have many of them.

@DavidRutten would it be possible to implement a “modify” / “update” named view option? or as an alternative would it be possible to modify current named view list in order to allow drag 'n drop of a specific view thus to allow changing the order of the list according to user’s need?
