Grasshopper skatebowl rhino 7

Hi everyone, I’m new on grasshopper and i am designing a skate bowl, I found this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KIi2lznDU2w&t=1040s but there’s no explanation of the process between the ORIGIN of point 0 and point 1, I replicated the definition to copy the Arch (image 1) between those closed curves (image 2). Can anyone help me to figure out this last step please?

Like this? I’m puzzled that Trim (Trim with Regions) works when the purple curves don’t intersect it? And that the ‘P’ (Plane) input accepts (requires!) the planar curve.
