Grasshopper performance noticeably worse on Rhino 8 BETA (8.0.23255)

I am working on a moderately complex but small project on Grasshopper. While I noticed no difference when navigating Rhino (before and after baking) the UI in Grasshopper lags enormously, which did not happen in the last release on the very same file. I’m not attaching the .gh file for reference, as the same behaviour happens on an empty file as well.

P.S. When copying the system infos on Rhino I also noticed the scroll is incredibly laggy as well. This was not happening before.

edit: This only seems to happen when using the trackpad. Not exactly sure why.

@Gijs thanks for the reply.

I just opened the same file, it’s a lot better. Canvas redraw speed at 56fps. The file still needs about the same time to open and compute than on R7 (~10min). Did not try on an Intel-based Mac.

I can send the file over if relevant.
