Grasshopper isn't recognized by Rhino

My Rhino 8 doesnt recognize the command Grasshopper nor is starting by clicking the symbol: it says the type initialisation for grashoppercanvas has made an exception. Can anyone explain what’s going on and how to restore? Thanks in advance!

Hi Alexander -

Please start by preparing the Rhino installation from the Windows Control Panel.

preparing = repairing? :wink:
Start > Programs and Features > Rhino > … Modify > Repair

Hi there,

I have the same problem as Alexander. I did a repair, but it didn’t fix the issue.

When launched with Rhino.Inside.Revit, grasshopper runs correctly.

Is there an error message when you run the Grasshopper command? If so, can you attach an image of that message?

Sorry Wim for the belated noticing of your answer.

28 days since you replied is enough for me to forget the details.

Basically I figured that Rhino had been switched to NetFramework (?) and I was able to fix the problem by reverting to NetCore.
