As the title says, the Grasshopper Explode Object fails when a linked file contains a clipping view.
A quick test isn’t showing this, but might not be understanding completely.
R8-LinkedFileExplode.gh (7.3 KB)
R8-ContainsLinkedClippedView.3dm (51.3 KB)
R8-HasClippedView.3dm (50.7 KB)
Sorry it’s happening with a linked file using the Import Model Block Definition component.

Got it, thanks for reporting RH-82898, it looks to be related to the clipping plane, active or not.
RH-82898 is fixed in Rhino 8 Service Release 9
Thanks Brian. I’m using a dujour build it’ll take a moment until I can test it…
Rhino 8 SR10 2024-6-22 (Rhino 8, 8.10.24174.10001)
Or what would I have to do to overwrite the dujour 8.10… with the current public release?
You need to uninstall and reinstall to get an older build of the latest RC.
