Grasshopper - Defining ggRvtMaterials in Python

I want to define ggRvtMaterials in Python so that I could dynamically create Revit framing types and bake them into Rhino based upon an inputted list of materials and element ID’s. However, when writing the script I keep getting a solver component error.

I cannot seem to figure out the reason as too why. The components outside of this script seem to work perfectly fine with no errors. Any ideas as to what could be the issue?

Hi Johny, Thanks for the interesting post. I must admit, I never actually tested Node in Code before, and with respect to the Geometry Gym plugin, it’s a bit of a double edged sword. A typical Grasshopper component treats it’s inputs as immutable. Ie an input might be a mesh, but the component duplicates a copy of the mesh, leaves the original untouched.
