GH viewport display: how to override materials?

I thought I had set the default display color as black. but when I open others’ definition it would be their color setting. How can I always set the color to mine?

Try to save your current file as a Grasshopper template file,

Thanks!
But I have already done that, the geometry color in my template is black, but when I open other people’s definition it will be theirs setting colors.

Yes, this setting is a document property of Grasshopper (Document Materials), just like the Unit setti in Rhino, it will be saved in the 3dm file.

Is there a way I can see the GH geometry as my color in every definition, no matter where do they come from?

Sorry for late reply. Got it, I think you can import a GH document to an already set GH document instead of just open it.
