GG to Robot - Material - Aluminium

I’m trying to export a grasshopper model to Robot using Aluminium as its material, however I am getting the below error on ggRobotCreateSectionProp:
“Steel Material required, use RC Beam or Column or check with Jon for other materials.”
I am using the ggRobotCreate Elastic Isotropic Material which connects to ggRobotCreateSectionProp.

What is the recommended way to work with Aluminium before sending it to Robot?

Thanks for reporting this. I agree, this component should allow an aluminum material to be assigned.
I’ve uploaded a new version of the plugin that will permit this. Refer to this example script.
Let me know if this doesn’t help.
