Hi, I have a client who builds Geodesic Domes. They generate them in Grasshopper but the scripts are not optimised for ShapeDiver. They Are using either Bullant or Parakeet plugins to generate the initial shape. Both plugins are not on the list of supported plugins by ShapeDiver. Question: do you think you could look into installing those plugins on your servers or maybe you could recommend a way to construct an initial dome structure with components already supported by ShapeDiver?
P.S. the priority is not on relaxation of the structure but on part similarity.
We will evaluate Bullant to see if it can be installed on the servers. I will let you know once we make progress.
We have already evaluated Parakeet and unfortunately we cannot install the plugin at the moment, due to a licensing mechanism from the plugin which makes it incompatible with cloud usage. We have contacted the developers to ask them to change this mechanism but have not received an answer.
