Come suggerito da Mitch potrebbe essere un problema legato a qualche plug-in di terze parti che inibisce l’apertura di più sessioni.
Per poter indagare puoi eseguire in rhino il comando _systeminfo e copiare/incollare qui il testo restituito?
Altre prove che si possono fare è di eseguire Rhino in safe mode (in modo che non carichi nessun plug-in esterno e disattivi l’accelerazione video) e vedere se il messaggio appare ancora oppure fare una riparazione dell’installazione di Rhino.
