Fillet edge artifacts

getting some weirdness here when trying to fillet the edge, bunching at the corners etc
I can lower the fillet radius but thats not really the shape I want, anyway to relax these areas and avoid the artifacts?

That a basic geometry principle; fillets can’t go cleanly around corners with a smaller radius than the fillet’s radius.
You can get a clean result with BlendSrf. You’ll have to trim back the surfaces on each side of the edge and probably add a few controls (with the “Add Shapes” button).
