I suggest to add a new option for the “Rebuild” tool that will enable non-uniform rebuild where the control points are more focused towards the 4 corners, thus leave greater space around the middle of the rebuilt surface. That will help in situations where the goal is to match the rebuilt surface to nearby surface(s), especially if the target edge is an exact arc degree 2.
