Element Geometry outputs more values than input

Hello all, I realized that the Element Geometry component sometimes outputs more elements/values than the original input (See attached pictures)

It seems hard to work with lists after that, do you have an idea what makes the component creates more geometries than there are input elements ?

Thanks

In this example there is one family that has two breps, so one input creates multiple outputs.

If i’m misunderstanding the question please provide an example.

Thanks

Not exactly, I solved it by doing this, I was thinking that each element should only contain its own geometry as a group or a block, maybe give us the option to do that. It would be really helpful for any workflow to have this as an option

That was the problem, too many geometries compared to the base elements

Not quite understanding. If you simplify the branches and trim the tree you’ll have corresponding branches. If the geometry is touching you could join into one at that point, but that is not a given.

Okay okay, second person that tells me it’s a bad idea, I give up. Let’s call it a solution and let’s keep it this way for people that might need some help.
