Editing patch surface

Hi, I am very new to Rhino and Grasshopper. I created a 6 points surface using patch command in Rhino, but I can’t seems to edit this surface in Grasshopper as there is invisible untrimmed surface. How can I edit the patch surface?

Hello- in Rhino you can make a patch surface with History and edit the inputs to update the patch. Without knowing how you’ve created the patch, it’s hard to say what you should do in GH.

Thanks for your quick reply. I attached the model below this message. You mean changing the input of Patch command? If I changed it the geometry of the surface with get affected, and as I have a lot more of this surface I tried not to break it and use the command like Loft

Hello - see the attached file - I don’t know if this gets at what you need, but, open the file, select the red polyline (input to the patch surface), turn on points (f-10 key) and then move the polyline points around- the Gumball is perfect for this.

So sorry for misleading you. The problem I am facing now is I can’t apply the Patch surface into Grasshopper, as the Grasshopper will detact the “invisible surface”. I attached prinscreen image for your reference, thank you!

Hello - I see - well there is always an untrimmed surface associated with an arbitrarily trimmed face so you can’t escape that - question then is, what are you trying to do in GH that is broken by this? Presumably you need to restrict something to the trimmed face …?

Hello, I don’t really how to describe so I attached my Grasshopper file for your reference, I will apply Pipe command in Grasshopper at the end to create a structure system. Thank you for your patient.
