Hi,
I am facing issue in running a simple wind analysis using Eddy3D and BlueCFD in Rhino. When i click on the Run simulation Button as highlighted in the below image, the python window just pops for a split second. I understand that this means there is some issue and the simulation has not ran successfully as the residuals are giving this error “1. There was no Gnuplot version found on your system.”
I have installed the following versions:
EDDY3D 0.4.15.1
Rhino Version 8 SR16
blueCFD-Core-2020
search the forum , you may nee to downgrade to 8.8, at least that was the status several months back when i last used Eddy3D. Note that I also had an issue no being able to run residuals. Eddy 3d not running - #2 by crz_06
The team behind Eddy is working on an update to have it working for versions after 8.8, the changelog > Download - Eddy3D
Shaheen, This sound like an issue with your BlueCFD installation or possible your case? Did you change the input geometry or any other settings? The template cases should run fine.
These softwares have been installed in my company laptop by the IT Team. They did check for any possible issues. I haven’t changed anything in the default template. Can you think of any possible issues during installation? or is it because of the Rhino version as suggested by EDDY 3D - BlueCFD Run Simulation Issue - #2 by crz_06
