DWG import component for Grasshopper?

Hi. I do need to import and process a lot of 3D objects that I received in DWG format and I can’t find any component for Grasshopper that can do this.

If know somebody such a component or have a script that can be used, please post. Thank you.

you could try Import 3DM from Params → Input, it worked for me in the past for importing DWGs

No matter what filepath I put, I get the same error: “The provided path is null.”

Hi Macuso -

  1. That does not appear to be the Import 3DM component
  2. You are not providing a file path. You are providing a directory
