Following on from this thread — I’ve built a small modeless palette around the draw order mechanics @Helvetosaur explained here, particularly the point about 0 being the baseline where unsupported object types sit.
Named tiers either side of 0, a live readout of the current value (the part I always missed), nudge buttons, and select-everything-in-a-band for auditing a drawing before issuing a PDF.
