I have used the drape tool over a series of contour lines and now wanting to edit the “mesh/polysrf” that the drape made. Usually i would use a mesh and points on would work however this is my first time using a drape tool and now i would like to edit the surface created
please help :)))))
Points on should work for the draped surface as well…
depending on your needs and detail required, you may want to quadremesh that drape, then convert to subd and edit it that way.
this will lose detail for sure, but if you don’t need tons of detail its a much nicer way to edit than thousands of points on a draped surface.
