Do I need to remove Rhino 7 before installing Rhino 8?

To save space on my PC laptop I’d like to uninstall Rhino 7, but I’m not sure if there are files that ver. 8 will need. If I uninstall 7, will ver 8 install correctly? Thanks!

Yes. Rhino 8 is independent from Rhino 7. If Rhino 7 is found when Rhino 8 is installed, it could be that Rhino 8 notices some PlugIns from Rhino 7 and will try to use them. At least this is what happend to me under Win10.
