Distance Along Curve (Feature Request?)

I’ve seen this question before but no real selection.

Given a curve and a point on the curve, how can I place a second point that is at a specified distance along the curve on the curve?

Hello - SubCrv can do that - set Mode=MarkEnds. Once the first point is placed, type the desired distance, plus Enter.
