Thanks for these videos. I’m going to try to translate them into words:

  1. In this video, your custom Window Layout has containers docked to the left and right of the command prompt. When you enter Fullscreen and leave, those containers disappear or are resized. I logged this as RH-78740 Fullscreen breaks containers (1 of 3)

  2. In the second video Fullscreen causes the column widths of the Linetypes panel to get resized.
Logged as RH-78741 Fullscreen breaks containers (2 of 3) - Linetypes

  3. This third one is hard for me to figure out. I can see that there’s a whole lot of weird stuff going on with the painting after coming out of Fullscreen. Is there something different you did to get out of fullscreen? I haven’t logged this one yet, because I don’t understand the video.

Hi, I didn’t describe them because one got to see it anyway.

When it comes to the third video I used these settings for the Fullscreen command:
Set fullscreen options ( ShowLayer=Yes ShowCommand=No ShowStatus=Yes ShowProperties=Yes ShowMenu=Yes ShowTitle=Yes ShowFloating=Yes DisableEscape=No )

I escaped the Fullscreen by pressing the ESC key. Dragging the Rhino window helps to get rid of these glitches

Ah, thanks. It wasn’t clear to me that I was supposed to pause the video and reverse engineer the command options you used. If you used different options for the first two, can you please tell me what they were? That’ll help me reproduce and log the bugs.

I logged the third as RH-78743 Fullscreen Breaks Containers (3 of 3)

I just hid everything:
Set fullscreen options ( ShowLayer=No ShowCommand=No ShowStatus=No ShowProperties=No ShowMenu=No ShowTitle=No ShowFloating=No DisableEscape=No )

Perfect, thanks.

please fix this as soon as possible!!!
so tired of restoring my custom setup…

Sadly there are a lot of things wrong with Window Layouts and custom configurations. We’re trying to dig out of this as fast as we can. Thanks for your patience.

There are other problems 8.4
Hides containers

The problem here is that containers disappear when you run Fullscreen command, right?

right :+1:.
Another problem is when the left and right bars are hidden. Shows after fullscreen.

I don’t understand what you mean here. Can you please use different words?

Hi Brian, I think I know what he means.

You can see this is my left window edge of rhino, with a couple of custom toolbars:

After toggling fullscreen, they look like this:

Thanks. Can you please send me your Window Layout? (From Window > Window Layout > Manage Window Layout, click Save, then Export)

duncanw_rh8-window-layout.rhw (127.8 KB)

Hope this helps.

Thanks, I logged this as:

A temporary workaround that I’ve found quite useful is the (new to me) ToggleRightSidebar command. A very welcome addition :+1:

Hi _ Is this repair near or far?
Thanks
