Deleting original geometry while baking in Grasshopper

Hi all,

I am currently working on a GH that creates finger joints from two plates and was wondering if there was a way to, while baking the new parts with the joins, delete the two original plates (it could save me some time and efficiency)

Thank you all in advance

(PS: please note that the current GH file is a huge work in progess, thus still very messy)

Please take a look at the Grasshopper Rhino components.

Despite the possibility to overwrite geometry with the baked content from Grasshopper, I would not do it. Bake into a separate layer and once you know the full part is not needed anymore you can delete the layer.

You’ll see how to reference the geometry if you use my two files.
