Default properties for sections

Hello,
I wonder if it is posible to set different default sections’ properties? By default it is something like this…:

…and these are not my favorite ones :wink: I’d like them set as follows, for example:

Is there any setting for doing so? Now, I have to change all elements’ properties, it would be great to have some ready to use option.

Blast, I’ve got used to the VisualARQ so I’ve forgotten there could be a plain Rhino… :wink:

Adding to this wish, it would be cool to be able to set it by layer. That’d be very powerful when creating different templates.

Hi,

We will add support for “By Layer” and “By Material” for all section attributes. This is planned for VisualARQ 3.x.

But there is already such support… I meant, it would be fine to have an option to set user’s initial values for section’s properties.

I second that. Countless times a day I change the section attributes of the same objects I am working on(always to identical values) every time I edit those objects.

Hi Roi, since in Rhino 8 you can define the sections styles by layer, you can also assign the section attributes of VisualARQ objects by Layer too.
