In the input mesh DEM component, how do I decide the sample size, X dimension and Y dimension?

The site where you download your GeoTIFFs will / should probably have that information.
Apart from that, you can open your GeoTIFF file in a program such as QGIS and get that information from its properties panel.

The GeoTIFF file was generated by global mapper and didn’t give any information related to that.
