Command that check selected obj's Material Name?

Is there any command that can quickly return the selected object’s assigned Material name?

I found that Ive always spent a long time scolling down the list inside the “Materials” tab and looking for the yellow highlight
especially when the project has hundreds of materials
I will then have to find the same name under the vray list in order to edit the material

I felt like im definetely doing it wrong? Need some better workflow. Thanks

You can also set the Materials panel to only show materials for selected objects using the right-click context menu in the materials panel.
