The command history panel stays static even when new command are typed… for example: run the Length
command, the panel stays static and one has to manually scroll to the newly added line.

That’s a known issue for users on macOS Ventura 13.x.
→ RH-73417 CommandHistory doesn’t scroll to the bottom

… yes the same in V7 here.
I created a new topic to keep V7 / V8 category separated.
I am also waiting for a fix !
recorded videos are worthless, setting in the classroom is quite demanding.
should be a V7 fix in my opinion.

sorry, its not fixed properly:
Its better, but still easy to break:

After running this a few times it scrolls only halfway or more, but never to the end. And does not recover. Dragging a box etc. results in erratic jumping around. Once the Buffer is is full (around 4k lines) it stablizies a bit, but still:
